five four three two
a new blog is created every 5 seconds. Can you believe that? we love blogs! my new favorite blog right now is bethany's i am certain that i have yet to uncover new amazing things hidden deep within that blog it's mighty incredible.
This is something I came across on youtube that I think is cool. I think byu-idaho should have a student film festival with this as the theme. i wonder how one might initiate something like that...
Come on people, it's Crapo, not Crappo! Micaela, Ammon, Addy, Idgy, and Lucy, the dear Crapo family. And Christian came too it was bomb! This was my first time visiting the the family at their new[er] home in Colorado. Evan had beat me to it last year while I was in Ethiopia. I can't believe my boyfriend [at the time] got to go to my family's new home before me!! I guess it shows that Evan was meant to be a part of the family.
It was so much fun! Addy is an adorable little muffin of love and she quickly grew comfortable around us unfamiliar people. One of her only words is no and it was so rediculously cute that I actually wanted to hear her say it. It was the first restful trip in a loooong time. our schedule was like this: Eat. Play settlers of katan. Take a nap. Use the facilities. Eat. Listen to the Magician's Nephew on disc. Eat. Eat while playing killer bunnies. watch a movie while eating. I think we left the house 4 times including the trip to the airport with our luggage. It was great! By about the Thursday or Friday I felt like I should move my limbs so I found an exercise channel and that lasted about 4 minutes. It was very fulfilling.
This was Evan and I's first Christmas together!! It was so great to spend Christmas with family loved ones after last year being in a faraway place. Even if the fireplace was actually a plasma screen [note in picture]
Now that my last full-time semester is over this semester I'll be taking one econ class and teaching a one-credit class on campus while I'm working full-time at Danco Transportation, a local trucking company here in Rexburg. ahhh the smell of diesel. Just kidding I work in the office everyday. Aside from getting to work with Diane who is a great friend and prior long-time roommate, getting benefits, and learning quickbooks, it's been an enlightening experience, seeing a different side of rural Idaho than what BYU-Idaho embodies. I'm loving it!! Last month for my basics of photography class I chose trucking as the theme of my final project. Alas, I procrastinated picture taking and was left with just two days to capture the trucking world, so I didn't get to spend as much time taking pictures with them as I would have liked. Just doesn't do the intermountain west world of trucking justice. But hey I got an A and I hope you enjoy the pictures. If not, you'll probably get a kick out of the song
ps i finally changed my voicemail!! my name is now lindsay macdonald, it's official
